Elizabeth Hunter Hartman of Kirkland, Washington died February 2, 2004 in Kirkland. She was 97. She resided in Port Orchard, Washington from 1975 to 1987. She was born in County Antrim, Ireland October 17, 1906 to Robert and Rachel (McAllese) Hunter. She married Howard L. Hartman May 22, 1938 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Elizabeth was a homemaker. She was a former hospital worker at Edinburgh Hospital in Scotland and Our Lady of Lourds Hospital in Pasco, Washington. She enjoyed handy work, music and geneology. Elizabeth is survived by son - Richard Hartman (& wife, Sandra) of Bellevue, Washington; daughter - Jean Leathers (& husband, Bud) of Covington, Washington; numerous nieces and nephews in the U.S., Great Britain and Australia; 8 grandchildren (Dawn Martinez, Douglas Leathers, Ryan Leathers, Heather Song, Shane Hartman, Kirk Hartman, Ian Hartman, Trent Hartman); 4 great-grandchildren (Lane Leathers, Kailey Leathers, Jordan Leathers and Will Hartman). She was preceded in death by: brother - James Hunter; sisters - Jane, Martha, Jachel, Sarah, Mary, Nettie, Cathy, Anna, Jennie. A private funeral will be held.
