Elizabeth Ketchum

Elizabeth L. "Betty" Ketchum died of cancer August 3, 2002 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 68.She was born December 4, 1933 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana to Harold and Virginia (Spaulding) Dixon.She graduated from Central High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1951."Betty" worked in advertising at the Orange County Register Newspaper - retiring in 1998.She is survived by her son Clayton Ernest Longacre of Port Orchard, Washington, sisters Eunice Campbell of Quinlan, Texas and Judith Parrotte of Whitney, Texas, 3 grandchildren (Annieka, Jeremy and Shiloh), and great-grandchild Aubray Michelle. She was preceded in death by son Michael and daughter Lynn Gale.Services will be held at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church of Port Orchard, Washington on Wednesday August 7, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. Additionally, a funeral service will be held at William Sullivan & Sons Funeral Home of Royal Oak, Michigan August 10, 2002 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will be Saturday August 10, 2002 10:00 a.m. at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, Michigan.Memorial Donations may be made to:Harrison Hospital Oncology Dept.2520 Cherry Ave.Bremerton, WA. 98310
