Ellen Ward-Kromka

Ellen F. Ward-Kromka, 71 of Bremerton died in Tacoma on September 21, 2008.  She was born October 2, 1936 in Svold, North Dakota to Gudmundur & Jonina (Stevenson) Sigurdson.  Ellen worked for 20 years as a Supervisory Purchasing Agent for FISC at the Naval Supply Center in Bremerton, retiring in 1996.  She enjoyed camping, fishing, cardmaking, crafts and dancing.  She loved to laugh and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.  Surviving are her husband and companion George of 21 years; children Dori Berge, Dean Berge, D'Ann (Dan) Rawlinson, Ellen Scott, and Robert (Jenny) Scott, Jr.; 10 grandchildren; sisters Betty Cooper and Janice Sigurdson; 2 aunts, many cousins, nephews, & nieces; her chosen daughter Missy; and life long friend Dicki Johnson. Memorial Service at 2:00pm on Friday, September 26, 2008 at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association or Kidney Foundation.
