Ellen Weathers

Ellen E. Weathers of Gig Harbor, Washington died at Allenmore Medical Center in Tacoma, Washington on January 20, 2004. She was 88. She was born December 28, 1915 in Port Orchard, Washington to Ray and Emma (Damar) Mullenix. Ellen married Bruce Weathers February 4, 1940 in Port Orchard, Washington. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1936. Ellen was a homemaker. She was an avid gardener and member of the Lakeside Garden Club in California. She also had a great love for animals and was very artistic; enjoyed painting, drawing and cooking. Ellen is survived by her husband - Bruce Weathers of the Gig Harbor, Washington family home; son - Bruce Weathers II (& wife, Marganne) of Tacoma, Washington; twin brothers - Lawrence Mullinex of Burley, Washington and Clarence Mullinex of Port Orchard, Washington; 1 grandchild - Jeff Blaine (& wife, Erin) of Buckley, Washington; 1 great-grandchild - Lyssa Blaine.
