Elsie Borg

Elsie Beverly Anderson Borg Hinson - Our beloved mother passed away on February 13, 2009 at Northwoods Lodge in Silverdale, Washington.  She was born to Kenneth and Myrtle Anderson on July 28, 1938 in Wenatchee, Washington. Elsie was married to Albert B. Borg in March of 1961.  She was also married to Charles Hinson who preceded her in death in December of 1999. Elsie worked at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton for 28 years, retiring as a Pipefitter General Foreman in 1995.  There was an article in the Bremerton Sun celebrating her accomplishment of becoming a journeyman Pipefitter Mechanic.  She also received numerous awards and citations while working there.  When she was a young girl she enjoyed raising and showing horses with her aunt and uncle.  She also enjoyed bowling, shooting pool, crocheting, and spending time with her boys. She is survived by her three sons Joseph, David, and Steven, all of the family home.
