Emma E Lampley, 88, passed away March 24, 2015 at Franciscan Hospice of Tacoma, WA.
She was born April 29, 1926 in Great Falls, Montana. Victor, her husband, was transferred by the Navy to Washington and they remained in Port Orchard, WA for the remainder of their lives.
She was the second oldest in the family of twelve children. Surviving siblings are Walter Luttrell of Kennesaw, GA, Virginia Hoover of Smyrna, TN, and Edna Diamond of Jacksonville, FL, now a resident of Port Orchard.
Before retiring, Emma worked at Harrison Hospital as Chief of Communications. She was a past member of dear friends called Steel Magnolias. Her friends of 35 years Art Montalvo, a grandson to Emma, Elaine Montalvo, Joyce Kreshka, and Lily and Werner Simon, were a great comfort during her illness.
