Erik Joseph Lougheed

We are grieving the loss of our wonderful son Erik, 32, who died from complications from surgery on August 18, 2024. He and his brother James are the lights of our life. Erik’s smile is infections and his hugs legendary. He loves his family and friends fiercely. He also loves Jesus and young people, because of that was very active in West Sound Young Life as a leader and Teen Night at the YMCA in Gig Harbor as an adult volunteer. He had a heart for teenagers and wanted to be a person they could count on to love them no matter what. His legacy is joy, peace, kindness, patience, compassion, empathy and love for everyone. Erik was a South Kitsap graduate and got his Associate of Arts from Olympic College. Erik was the bookkeeper at his family’s restaurant Spiro’s Pizza and Pasta in Port Orchard.

He is survived by his parents William and Kathy, his brother James, grandfather Mike Lougheed, aunts Michelle and Wendy Lougheed, Susan Graham (Glenn) and cousin Zach Vanchiere (Vanessa) and their children and cousins Brian and Peter Graham.

There will be a service at South Kitsap High School on Saturday October 5th, 2024, at 2 pm.
