Erma Christianson

Erma Esta Christianson, 92, of Port Orchard, passed away Friday August 27, 2010 at Life Care Center of Kennewick. She was born on April 26, 1918 in Corsicana, Texas to the late Connie Alvatice Wright and Mary H. Bunch Wright. She is preceded in death by her Husband of 58 years, Allan W. Christianson, and her daughter JoAnnChilders, as well as her siblings. She is survived by her son Robert A. Christianson and his wife Linda of Gig Harbor, her son-in-law Robert Childers, her grandchildren James Childers and his wife Tarisa, MindyWalenceus and her husband Peter, Andrea Mann and her husband Kendall, Rebecca Wood and her husband Josh, David Childers, John Christianson and his wife Sarah, Jennifer Christianson-Barker and her husband  S. Bradley, Stephen Christianson and his wife Sarah along with many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a skilled painter and poet, for her beautiful voice, and as a joyous servant of the Lord.A memorial service will be held 11a.m. Saturday September 4, 2010 at the Port Orchard Church of Christ 2585 Carr Lane SEPort Orchard, WA 98366 with the pastor Melvin Byrd officiating. Memorial contributions can be made in the name of Al and Erma Christianson to the City of Children Orphanage, a cause near to their heart at PO Box 530130, San Diego CA 92153.
