Ervin Shipman of Port Orchard, Washington died December 1, 2004 in Bremerton, Washington. He was 77. He was born October 29, 1927 in Bear Mountain, Washington to William B. and Katherine (Meissen) Shipman. He married Teresa Trainer in Chelan, Washington on July 1, 1951. Ervin attended Lakeside School in Chelan, Washington. He worked as a Flange Turner at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Ervin enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, family, children & grandchildren and friends. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard, Washington. Ervin is survived by sons - Steven Shipman (& wife, Karen) of Ohio, Michael Shipman (& wife, Sandra) of Gig Harbor, Washington, Mark Shipman of Mt. Vernon, Washington; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
