Esperanza Quinn

Esperanza P. Quinn of Olalla, WA passed away peacefully on July 31, 2011 at St. Joesph's Hospital in Tacoma, WA due to complications of Parkinson's and PSP. Esperanza (Ester) was born Nov 13, 1947 in Bacolod City, Philippines to Esperedion and Catalina Atalio. She moved to Sasebo Japan in 1979 to be with her husband who was stationed there. She enjoyed fishing, crabbing and sewing having been an excellent seamstress. Ester moved to Olalla in 1985 with her husband who was stationed aboard the USS Alabama. Ester is survived by her husband of 32 years Donald Quinn; nieces Rosalie of VA, Rosevelle of Port Orchard, WA and Erma of CA; mother-in law Beverly Lynch of New York; brother in law's Fred & John Quinn; sister in law Rosanne Brown; and numerous relatives in the Philippines and New York. Calling hours are 4-7pm Fri Aug. 5 at Rill's Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard. A viewing will start at 9AM Mon, Aug 8 at Rill’s Tribute Center followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM at St. Gabriel Catholic Church also in Port Orchard.
