Esther Summerfield

Esther N. Summerfield, Age:78, died on March 6, 2002 at Evergreen Health and Rehabilitation Center in Bremerton, Washington.Esther was born on May 21, 1923 in Eatonville, Washington to Eric and Hannah(Dahlstrom)Anderson. She attended and graduated from Eatonville High School. She married Harry Summerfield, who preceded her in death in 1987.Esther made her career as a Homemaker. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary #2669 in Port Orchard, Washington.Esther is survived by two sons, Peter Houk of Bremerton, and Charlie Summerfield of Wasila, Alaska; daughters, Carol Barton of Superior, Wisconsin; Mary Ross of Maryland; Colleen Sumerfield of Bremerton; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 11, 2002 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard. She will be inurned at the Cemetery. The Reverend Larry Mead will officiate the service.
