Ethel Corcoran

Ethel Corcoran of Bremerton, Washington died of natural causes on October 8, 2006 at an Adult Family Home. She was 88. She was born October 21, 1917 in Rochester, WA to Charles Ivar Carlson and Lisa Johanna (Perjus). She married Anthony C. Corcoran November 18, 1939 in Rochester, WA. Anthony passed away April 22, 1989. She graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, WA in 1935. Ehtel's career was in food service. She was a popular waitress at a number of local area restaurants (including the Sportsman, the Hi-Lo, and West Park Lanes) for over twenty-five years. She loved serving food and helping people enjoy their dining experience. Ethel retired (from the Sportsman Restaurant) in 1975. Ethel enjoyed her family, cooking and baking, crocheting and knitting, playing cards, reading, doing crossword puzzles, and watching the Mariners - particularly (former Mariner) Joey Cora. Services will be held at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard (1151 Mitchell; 876-4405) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, 14 October. A private burial service will take place on Friday.
