Ethel Violet Lynam died September 15, 2002 at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard, Washington. She was 83.She was born July 10, 1919 in Port Orchard, Washington to Theodore and Magdalena (Yendrzak) Lehman.Ethel graduated from South Kitsap Union High School in Port Orchard, Washington in 1937. She married Virgil Lynam in Sparks, Nevada in 1947.Ethel worked as head cook and manager of Myhre's Restaurant - retiring after 20 years.She enjoyed traveling, tending to her flowers, walking, bingo, reading, swimming and pinochle. She was a member of Cooks and Culinary Union, and Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW.Ethel is survived by son - Michael J. Lynam (and wife Neita) of Olalla, Washington; daughters - Sandra Giard (and husband Ron) of Port Orchard, Washington, Patricia Lynam-Bolton (and Doug) of Belfair, Washington; brothers - Alex, Frank, John, Charlie, Al, Fred, Henry and Casper; and sisters - Sophie Brandt and Ann Shutt. She is also survived by: seven grandchildren - Robin Worland (& husband Matt), Kim Hopkins (& husband Mark), Todd Levenseller (& wife Wendy) - all of Port Orchard, Washington; Richard Giard of Bradenton, Florida; Brett Lynam of Bremerton, Washington; Eric Lynam of Olalla, Washington. Nine Great-grandchildren: Jayson Quattlebaum of Bremerton, Washington; Jackie Quattlebaum of Belfair, Washington; Thomas Sharp of Port Orchard, Washington; Stephen Sharp of Chesapeake, Virginia; Nathan Levenseler of Olalla, Washington; Jessica Giard of Bradenton, Florida; Elizabeth and Evan Levenseller and Kayla Knug - all of Port Orchard, Washington and one great-great-grandchild - Austyn Quattlebaum of Bremerton, Washington.
