Ethel Olund

Ethel O. Olund, 86, died at her home in Manchester, Washington on February 13, 1999.  She was born September 1, 1912 in Olalla, WA to David & Inga (Rongen) Carlson and graduated from South Kitsap High School in 1931.  She married Sigward A. Olund September 3, 1935 in Cromwell, Washington.  Sigward preceded her in death in 1982.  Ethel was a Homemaker and member of Manchester Community Church, Manchester Civic Association, and Friends of Manchester Library.Survivors include sons Donald Olund of Milwaukie, OR and Roy Olund of Seattle, WA; daughter Katherine Sundberg of Windlock, WA; sister Myrtle Nelson of Port Orchard; grandchildren Andrew, Amy, Alycia Sundberg of Winlock, WA, Deanna Hunter of Port Orchard, Lisa Carlson of Portland, David Olund of Seattle, and Christofer Roofener of Portland.  She was preceded in death by brothers Alvin & Lee Carlson.Visitation will be Friday February 19th at Rill Chapel, Port Orchard from 9 to 5pm and 7-9pm.  Funeral Service Saturday, February 20, 1999 at 11:00 am at Manchester Community Church.  Interment will follow at Sunset Lane Cemetery in Port Orchard.  Memorials to Manchester Library or Manchester Community Church.
