Eugene Anderson

Eugene "Gene" Anderson, 53 of Port Orchard, Washington died August 28, 2007 in Seattle. He was born August 2, 1954 in Bremerton, Washington to Arthur & Hazel (Erne) Anderson. He graduated from Central Kitsap High School in 1972. Gene married Gwen Pattee in Bremerton on April 24, 1976. Gene worked for 17 years as a General Foreman at Naval Subase Bangor & Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1994. He also worked for Heritage Fireplace Shop in Bremerton and Pacific Specialties Contracting in Gig Harbor. Gene enjoyed restoring classic cars, going to car shows, helping & teaching others, and being with friends & family. Surviving are wife Gwen; sons Brandon Anderson of Shelton, WA & Jeremy Anderson of Mill Creek, Washington; daughter Carri-Ann Anderson of Port Orchard; mother Hazel Anderson; sisters Sheila (Jay Herzmark) Anderson of Seattle and Clarice (Ken) Mischel) of Port Orchard; & many very special friends. Visitation September 5th Noon to 5:00 pm & September 6th from 9:00 am to the service at 2:00 pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Interment follows at Sunset Lane Memorial Park also in Port Orchard.
