Eugene Clare Darling

Eugene ''Gene'' Clare Darling, 74 of Bremerton, died at Forest Ridge Convalescent Center in Bremerton on April 15, 2001. He was born in Bremerton on August 31, 1926 to James & Birdie (Reynolds) Darling. Gene married Colleen Thompson on June 29, 1951 in Forks, Washington.Mr. Darling was employed as a Warehouseman for Turner & Peace in Seattle, Washington before his retirement. He enjoyed both fresh & saltwater fishing and playing guitar at local nursing homes.Surviving are his wife Colleen; son Ricky Darling of Bremerton; and daughter Vicki Lynn Darling also of Bremerton. He was preceded in death by sisters Barbara Graham, Hazel Thompson, and Marguerite McMackin.Graveside service will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremerton on Thursday, April 19, 2001 at 11:00am. Memorial donations may be made to the charity or church of choice.
