Eunice M. Sharp-Rauth, 72, of Port Orchard died in an automobile accident November 28, 2002, in Port Orchard.She was born February 19, 1930, in Princeton, S.C., to James Hoyt and Eunice Frances (Estes) Mahon. She graduated from Honea Path High School in Honea Path, S.C., in 1947 and later attended Olympic College.She married James Sharp on August 27, 1953, in Germany. He preceded her in death in 1985.She married Josef Rauth on September 2, 1999, in Allyn.Ms. Sharp-Rauth served in the Army from 1949 to 1954, achieving the rank of sergeant. She was awarded the Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal and Army Occupation Medal.She later worked as a cryptographic crew chief and telecommunications specialist in the Civil Service for 21 years, retiring in 1992.She was a member of the Sons of Norway, Elks Club and the Seattle Ski Club. She attended Memorial Lutheran Church in Bremerton.Survivors include two sons, Bob Sharp of Tacoma and Randy Sharp of Tullahoma, Tenn.; a brother, Charlie Mahon of Princeton, S.C.; a sister, Francis Mahon Dykes of Greenwood, S.C.; and four grandchildren, Erin Daniels of Tacoma, AJ Sharp, Dallas Rogers and Brandi Rogers, all of Tullahoma, Tenn. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathi Daniels-Sharp; a sister, Annie Martha "Mott" Mahon Lord; and a brother, James "Jake' Mahon.A funeral service will be held at noon Saturday at Memorial Lutheran Church. Interment will take place at Sunset Lane Cemetery.
