Evelyn Merleen McMillen died April 9, 2003 in Bremerton, Washington. She was 73.She was born February 18, 1930 in Santa Ana, California to Clark Leroy Gillham and Mayme Mae (Whittaker) Gillham.She married Jacob McMillen, Jr. October 4, 1953 in Santa Ana, California.She graduated from Garden Grove High School in Garden Grove, California in 1948.Evelyn was a homemaker.She enjoyed cake decorating, cooking for youth group retreats, travelling, sewing, flower arranging.She was a member of the Navy Yard City Bible Church.Evelyn is survived by her husband, Jacob McMillen, Jr.; sons - Matthew McMillen (and wife, Stacie) of Port Orchard, Washington and Martin Leroy McMillen of Tacoma, Washington; daughter - Cynthia McMillen of Port Orchard, Washington; sister - Eileen (& husband, Al) Biell of Kirkland, Washington, Kathleen (& husband, Jay) Byerly of Bothell, Washington; 7 grandchildren (Charlotte, Laura, Rachel, Zanna, Karissa, Tyler and Nicholas).A memorial service will be held at Navy Yard City Bible Church Thursday April 17, 2003 at 3:00P.M.
