Evelyn Louise Ryan 83 of Port Orchard, Washington died June 14, 2001 at her home . Evelyn was born September 1, 1917 in San Francisco, California to Raymond & Josephine (Llanes) Heyer.Evelyn attended Walnut Creek High School in California where she graduated in 1934. Duane & Evelyn were married December 31, 1937 in Alameda, California, Duane preceded her in death in 1979.Mrs. Ryan worked for Blanchard's Department Store in Port Orchard in Retail Sales & Howe Hardware. She retired in 1984 after 25 years. She was active with Holly Ridge Center in Bremerton and the Harmony Club of Port Orchard as well as a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard.Suviving are her sons Thomas Ryan of Puyallup, Washington and Daniel Ryan of Port Orchard; daughters Patricia Foote of Port Orchard; Shauna Peterson of Puyallup; Cathleen LoCicero of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and Lura Sheahan of Spokane, Washington; brother Raymond Heyer of Carson City, Nevada; sister Martha May of Alameda, California; 19 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard June 18, 2001 at 11:00 am with interment at Sunset Lane Cemetery also in Port Orchard.
