Evelyn D. Stanton died June 16, 2003 at her Port Orchard, Washington residence. She was 93.She was born to Burt and Isabelle (Adams) Stothard May 4, 1910 in Muskegon, Michigan.She married Joseph S. Stanton.Evelyn was a homemaker.She enjoyed flower gardening.Evelyn is survived by sons -William Stanton of Port Orchard, Washington, Joseph Stanton of Ohio, James Stanton of Florida and Arthur Stanton of Michigan; daughter - Mary Van Sumeren of Michigan; brother - Albert Stothard of Michigan; sister - Harriet Grappin of Michigan; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by daughter - Nancy Stanton.A visitation will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington Thursday, June 19, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center Thursday, June 19, 2003 at 1:00 p.m.An on-line memmorial can be seen at www.rill.com
