Everett C. Bigler of Port Orchard, Washington died October 12, 2004 in Seattle, Washington of a short illness. He was 76. He was born March 6, 1928 in Centralia, Washington to Russell L. and Anna C. (Ford) Bigler. Everett married Shirley Bethene (Hunter) Bigler August 30, 1947 in Rochester, Washington. She died in 1994. He graduated from Rochester High School in Rochester, Washington in 1945; and served an apprenticeship at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard (Shop 67) in Bremerton, Washington in 1949. He worked as an electronics technician supervisor for 37 years - retiring in 1983. Everett was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing and hunting. His religious membership was non denominational. Everett is survived by daughters - Diane Rose (& husband, Jerry) of Vacaville, California, Maida M. Bigler of Eugene, Oregon; brothers - David Bigler of Clakamus, Washington, Stanley C. Bigler (& wife, Sally) of Lakwood, Washington; 2 grandchildren - Sean Bigler (& wife, Bonnie) of Seattle, Emily Battles of Eugene, Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: wife - Shirley Bethene (Hunter) Bigler, parents - Russell Levi Bigler and Anna Claudina (Ford) Bigler, son - Michael F. Bigler, brothers - Glen Bigler and Richard Bigler. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on October 20, 2004 at 10:00 a.m.
