Everett D. Foster passed away on Friday April 23, 2010 at Harrison Medical Center in Bremerton ,WA. He was born in Rockville, Missouri April 21, 1934 to Earnest and Flossie (Rose) Foster. He graduated from Appleton City High School in 1951. He served two tours in the US Air Force. After graduating from Mankato State he became a director of libraries in Fergus Falls, MN and later Minot, ND. He moved to Port Orchard, WA in 1978 where he has resided since. “Cowboy Ev” was a poet, avid reader and historian. He will be remembered fondly for his quiet and gentle demeanor. Ev is survived by his half brother, Joel (Bessie) of Appleton, MO; his first wife Christina Friedrich and their children, Michael (Kim) and Angela (Scott) Bartholomay of Bottineau, ND, Wayne (Brenda) of Minot, ND, Amy (Roland) Busch of Mesa, AZ; nine grandchildren; and step-daughter Anita (Jayme) Severson and their two sons, of Port Orchard, WA. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Herb, half brother Milton and second wife Gerry.
