Faipea Sagale was born on December 14, 1975, in Pago Pago, American Samoa, and he passed away peacefully in Silverdale, WA, on September 14, 2024.
Faipea met his beloved wife, Jenelle, on the small island of Aunu’u in American Samoa. Together, they created a vibrant family filled with love, raising five wonderful boys.
His professional journey began when he joined the United States Army. Faipea then dedicated his skills to the Department of American Samoa Government Immigration and the Police Department, ultimately concluding his career at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. Starting as a dismantler in October 2011, he transitioned to the paint shop in October 2017, where he continued to excel until his retirement on September 13, 2024. Throughout his career, Faipea was recognized with numerous awards for his exceptional workmanship and performance, most recently earning Employee of the Quarter.
Faipea is survived by his wife, Jenelle; their five sons, Gabriel, Caleb, Mathias, Malachi, and Samson; Mother, Maria Sagale; Sisters, Maofa Alaimaleata, Eleitino Taliva’a, January Nikolao, and Julie Tonumaipe’a; Brother’s, Fiso Sagale and Rihano Sagale. His father Taligalu F. Sagale preceded him in death.
