Fay Evelyn Davis died of natural causes June 6, 2003 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. She was 79.She was born August 11, 1923 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to Labanuel & Loney (Mercer) Gentry.She married William A. Davis June 14, 1941 in Twin Falls, Idaho.Fay attended Castle Ford High School in Castle Ford, Idaho.She was the owner of Davis Ceramics in Port Orchard for 15 years.Fay was a homemaker for her entire adult life.She was a hobbyist; enjoyed ceramics, knitting, embroidery on machine; was a seamstress. She was, also, an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing.Fay was a member of Port Orchard Church of Christ. Fay is survived by son - Denny R. Davis (& wife, Aiko) of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter - Betty L. Sauget (& husband, Bob) of Kent, Washington; brothers - Ray Gentry - Fay's twin - (& spouse, Janet) of Sedona, Arizona, Louis Gentry (& wife, Pat) of Christmas Valley, Oregon; sister - Shirley Peterson of Hagerman, Idaho. She was also survived by 4 grandchildren (Tom, Tammy, Jodi & David) and 4 great-grandchildren (Veronica, Aaron, Hannah and Abigail). She was preceded in death by brothers: A.Y. Gentry and Foye Gentry, sisters: Inola Linnell, Bernice Long, Florence Farmer.A funeral service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2003.Interment will follow immediately at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard, Washington.
