Faye E. Hall, age 96, died November 5, 2010 at the Kitsap Hospice Care Center in Bremerton WA, after a brief illness. She was born May 23, 1914 in Lynn MA, the only daughter of Nicola Sano and Flavia (Guidara), both born in Sicily. She graduated from Salem State Teachers' College and was a third grade teacher starting in 1941. She first taught at Cobbett Elementary School, then at Sisson Elementary, both in Lynn, until her retirement in 1975. She also taught adult education evening classes, was a USO volunteer during WW II, and a Union Hospital Auxiliary volunteer, Secty and Vice President. Surviving are her husband Ray K. Hall, daughter Anna F. Hall & son-in-law Scott M. Fluharty, all currently living in Port Orchard WA. Ray was born Oct 24, 1921 in Shamokin PA; Anna was born May 8, 1948 in Lynn MA. Faye was preceded in death by her four brothers: Atty. V. Frederick Sano (1910-1969); Nicholas (1912-2010); "Gary" (1915-1999); and Benjamin (1917-2008), all of Lynn, MA.
