Faye James

Faye L. James, 86, a resident of Port Orchard, died in Bremerton of natural causes on Thursday, June 24, 2010. She was born to Ray and Irene (Gormley) Bell on June 14, 1924 in Wenatchee, WA where she attended schools. She married William C. James there on December 3, 1949, he preceded her in death in 1982. Faye enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and all kinds of crafts, taking trips to Reno and Las Vegas, but she loved her family more than anything else and especially delighted in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her son Andrew james of Leavenworth; daughters Martha Houle (Richard) and Carol Maves (Rusty) both of Port Orchard and Janice Piercy (Darryl) of Ellensburg; sister Joann Partridge of Leavenworth; ten grandchildren Kellie, Erin, Jamie, Brett, Adam, Scotty, Ammy, Steven, Heather and Ray; four great-grandchildren Brook, Miranda, Cody and Gabriel. She was preceded in death by great-granddaughter Miranda Stutzman.  Private services will be held at a later date.
