Faye Robinson

Faye O. Robinson, Age: 90, died on September 13, 2001 in Port Orchard, Washington. Ms.Robinson was born on July 25, 1911 in Polk County, Missouri to Raymond and Elsie(Worthan) Hamlin. She graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and established a career as a School Teacher. She taught in Missouri and also for the South Kitsap School District until her retirement in 1971.Faye had married George I. Robinson, who preceded her in death in 1962.She greatly enjoyed gardening at her home, and reading.She is survived by a son, Ben Robinson of Bremerton, Washington; a daughter, Sue Robinson of Port Orchard; a step-daughter, Ann Payne of Cumming, Georgia; a brother, Olen Hamlin of Springfield, Missouri; two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a step-son, Victor Robinson.No services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home & Crematory.
