Fern Amis

On Sunday, May 24th, Fern Marie Amis passed away peacefully, surrounded by the loving grace of God. During her short battle with cancer, Fern’s strong will and resilience blessed her with joyful moments, new friendships and precious time with her family. She created forever memories for her only grandson, her pride and joy, who excitedly loved his Grandma Fern. She had a passion for gardening, and a unique ability to grow beautiful flowers. Those flowers will continue to bloom in each of our hearts forever.  A loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, she will be missed greatly by all. Survived by her only son and grandson; Hugh Anthony Flashey and Anthony Alexander Flashey; and seven surviving siblings; Pearla Hall, Forba Ramirez , Helen Ebanks, Margaret Robertson, Gilda Perkins, Leroy Perryman and Janice Alexander.  A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 13th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church located at 1150 Mitchell Avenue, Port Orchard.
