Fern Laurel Lee, 66, a resident of Port Orchard, died at Harrison Memorial Hospital on May 6, 2011 of natural causes. She was born in Nampa, Idaho on February 2, 1945 to Robert and Ina (Fansler) Stemen. She was employed for 25 years at the Federal Industrial Supply Center and spent twenty-one years as a lead purchasing agent, retiring in 2005. A regular fixture at the Little League field during her boys growing up years, she always expressed how proud she was of their accomplishments. This continued throughout their high school years and into adulthood. She was preceded in death by her spouse, Roger Lee in 1995. She is survived by her sons Ronald E., Ricky R. and Rodney R. Lee; Sisters Alberta Champion (Champ) and Rose Gross (Brian); there are also six grandchildren. Services will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 14 at Rill Chapelâ??s Life tribute Center. Donations may be made in her name to Breast Cancer Research.
