Fern Schoneman

Fern Irene Schoneman, 63 of Bremerton, died August 21, 2009.  She was born June 29, 1946 in Newport, WA.  She graduated from Bremerton West High School and Knapp College of Business in Tacoma.  Fern was a homemaker and also worked for Washington State Ferries and as a receptionist for the National Guard.  She volunteered at Harrison Hospital.  She enjoyed skiing, going to the ocean, her pets "Toby" & "Daisy", being with family, and she loved helping others.  Surviving are mother Irma Van Dorin of Bremerton; daughters Stephanie (Mark) Heyn, Crystal (Mario) Dela Rosa & Julie Schoneman; brothers Bill (Faye) Norgaard and Charles (Jeannette) Norgaard; and grandson Adam Heyn. Our Mother was an extremely kind hearted, loving and giving person.  Her children, grandson, and family meant the world to her.  She will be missed and will remain forever in our hearts.  "Good night, I love you, sweet dreams".  We love you Mom. Graveside service at 3:00 pm on Thursday, August 27, 2009 at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.
