Florence Allred

Florence L. Allred,80 years, died May 30, 2004 in Bremerton, WA. She was born July 25, 1923 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Carl and Ethel (Young) Fornelius. Mrs. Allred graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville, UT in 1941. She married John Allred Jr. in Salt Lake City, UT on December 5, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1969. Mrs. Allred was employed for 17 years as a purchasing department supervisor at the Naval Supply Center Puget Sound before retiring in 1983. She was also a former employee at Hill Air Force Base in Ogden, Utah. Florence enjoyed gardening, crafts and family history research. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Silverdale 2nd Ward. She is survived by her daughter Jeannette Allred of Silverdale, WA., daughter Kathleen and Husband Adarin Gohl of Port Orchard, WA., and 4 grandchildren. Florence is preceded in death by her brothers Carl Fornelius and LaVoy Fornelius, Sister Bea Worsley, and Granddaughter Corina Packard. Services will be held at The Chuch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Silverdale, WA., on June 4, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Interment will be at Haven of Rest Memorial Park in Gig Harbor, WA., June 4, 2004 at 11:00 a.m.
