Florence Clark

Florence Lorraine Clark, 91 of Port Orchard, died August 15, 2008 at Harbor View Hospital in Seattle. She was born July 28, 1917 in Flasher, North Dakota to Ellsworth & Oella (Shelhart) Russell.  She married Glen Clark on June 24, 1956. Mrs. Clark worked in the state capital building of Wyoming as a secretary, fostered disadvantaged children, taught Good News Clubs in homes for many years, and taught 4 and 5 year olds in Sunday school at Faith Community Bible Church for decades.  She loved to sing and play the piano, accordion, guitar, and harmonica for the enjoyment of others.  For the past three years she was a resident in the very caring hands of Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard. Her husband preceded her in death August 26, 1998.  Survivors include sons Dale Clark of Tacoma and David Clark of Port Orchard; stepson Tom (Betsy) Clark) of Bremerton; brother Orville (Betty) Russell of Richland, WA; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Public viewing August 21st & 22nd from 3:00 to 5:00pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard.  Memorial service at 2:00pm on Saturday, August 23rd at Faith Community Bible Church in Bremerton.  Interment at Sunset Lane Memorial Park in Port Orchard.  Memorials to Child Evangelism Fellowship of Kitsap County, PO Box 775, Bremerton WA 98337, Multnomah Bible College & Bible Seminary, 8435 NE Glisan St, Portland OR 97220, or Faith Community Bible Church, 3648 F St, Bremerton, WA 98312.
