Florence Garner

Florence Mary Garner, 90, of Port Orchard, WA, died December 8, 2007, at Manor Care in Gig Harbor, WA. She was born November 1, 1917, in Centralia, IL, to John and Ferol (Stewart) Gearon. Florence married Robert C. Garner on March 17, 1946 in Stockton, CA. He preceded her in death in 1969. She worked as a bookkeeper for Sears, Roebuck and Corp for 25 years retiring in 1978. Florence loved folk and square dancing, line dancing, and being with her family. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughter Ferol (Robert) Williams, of Port Orchard, WA; 3 grandchildren Erin K. Williams, Krista D. Roy, and Kevin R. Williams; 2 great grandchildren Courtney M. Parrish and Phillip G. Parrish; and 1 great great grandchild Shawn Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband and 3 brothers. Graveside services will be held at the Stockton Rural Cemetery in Stockton, CA on Thursday, Dec. 13, 2007 at 1PM.
