Mrs. Florence Willison Izett, resident of Port Orchard, Washington, died of natural causes on July 11, 2001. She was 93 years old.Florence Willison was born on August 4, 1907 in Britton, South Dakota to Walter and Alma (Root) Willison. She graduated from high school on Vashon Island in 1925. She attended the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington, and Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington, graduating in 1934.On June 18, 1939, Florence married William Bryan Izett in Oak Harbor, Washington. The couple had three daughters.She was employed as a Teacher all of her working life, retiring in 1972 from the Shoreline School District after fourty years of service at various school districts in Western Washington.Florence enjoyed gardening, and was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.Florence is survived by daughter, Sharon L. Robinson of Port Orchard, Washington; daughter, Faye Izette of Mill Valley, California; and sister Eleanore Lake of Bellingham, Washington.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Anne Izett in 1952; her husband, William, in 1986; and five brothers and sisters.Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.
