Floyd E. Amos died of kidney failure September 14, 2003 at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. He was 72.He was born May 4, 1931 in Sumner, Washington to William H. and Anna May(Long) Amos.Floyd married G. Lorene Johnson August 25, 1956 in Moses Lake, Washington.He served in the U.S. Navy as an E-3. He was a Korean War Era Veteran.He also worked as a commercial carpenter for 20 years - retiring in 1993.Floyd was a member of the Mason Lodge of Yakima, a 3 degree Mason.Floyd is survived by his wife, G. Lorene (Johnson) Amos, of the Port Orchard, Washington home; sons - Charles Amos (& wife, Sheila) of Bothell, WA., Steven L. Klinger (& wife, Nancy) of Puyallup, WA.; daughter - Rebecca M. Miller (& husband, Robert) of Federal Way, WA.; brothers - Ray Amos (& wife, Lola) of Yakima, WA., Glen Amos (& wife, Edna) and David Amos (& wife, Joy) of Port Ludlow, WA.; sisters - Lillian Wilson and Donna Rice of Yakima, Enola Golding (& husband, Don) of Porland, OR.; grandchildren (6): Steven L. Klinger, Jr., Marina E. and Tarra L. Jewell; Hillary E., Gavin A. and Elyse L. Amos; great-grandchildren (2).
