Mr. Floyd A. Ferguson, Age: 86, died of natural causes on January 16, 2002, at Harrison Hospital in Bremerton, Washington. Mr. Ferguson had been a resident of Bremerton.Floyd was born on December 1, 1915 in Van Nuys, California, to John and Nina(Wescott)Ferguson.He served in the United States Navy from 1932-1935, and service a second tour of duty from 1941-1946. Floyd achieved the rank of Chief Warrant Officer II.On July 19, 1935, Floyd married Jennie F. Davis in Seattle, Washington.Floyd worked for the telephone company, retiring in 1959. He then built a 56 foot commercial fishing boat, which he operated for four years. He was a member of the Kitsap County Train Club and Masons.Floyd is survived by his wife, Jennie, of the family home; a son, John A. Ferguson, of Huntington Beach, California; a daughter, Patricia A."Trish" Davis, Keyport, Washington; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Barbour, and a brother, Donald Ferguson.There are no service arrangements at this time.All arrangements are under direction of Rill Chapel, Pendleton-Gilchrist Funeral Home and Crematory.
