Floyd Williams, 82, of Grapeview, died June 21st at Ridgemont Terrace in Port Orchard. He was born February 11, 1925 in Salida, CO to Harmon & Alice (Norris) Williams. On December 8, 1950 he married Verna Bland in Bremerton. Mr. Williams was a PT Boater in the U.S. Navy during WWII and a firefighter with the city of Bremerton for 27 years retiring in 1978. He enjoyed carving, fly fishing & spending time at the senior center playing pool. He attended North Mason Bible church and was the Sunday school Superintendent of the Bear Creek Sunday School. Survivors include his wife, Verna of Grapeview; 2 daughters, Teena (Todd) Townsend of LaSelva Beach, Ca & Terri (Steve) Wyatt of Eugene, Or; a sister, Tekla (Bob) Walton of Bellingham; 3 Grandchildren, Megan (Jeremy) Anderson, of Ronan, Mt, Stefanie (Tim) Calhoun & Kevin Wyatt of Eugene, Or; 2 Great Grandchildren Hunter Anderson & Judah Calhoun. He was preceded in death by his Mother & Stepfather, a Brother and Sister. A Graveside service is scheduled for 1pm Saturday, June 30th at Sunset Lane Memorial Park followed by a Memorial service at 2pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center.
