Frances “Fran” Ann (Redding) Taylor, 66, of Bremerton, died unexpectedly in her home on Monday, January 17, 2022.
Born in Carson City, Nevada on March 8th, 1955 to William & Marie Redding, Fran was raised by her birth mom until her mother’s untimely death. After her father remarried, Fran was raised by her father and step-mother, Elizabeth. Fran graduated from Sir Francis Drake High School, class of 1973. Hard-working, she spent 18 years serving customers at Godfather’s Pizza, then 23 years working in the deli at Safeway. She retired in 2021.
Fran is survived by her husband and partner of 48 years, John Taylor, her children Thomas Redding, Ryan Taylor and Marie Payne, and 12 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings and her son John J. Taylor.
Fran was known for her friendly and caring personality. She loved to read and enjoyed spending time with family. She’ll be lovingly remembered for her chocolate pizza during the holiday season and the handmade crayon pillows she would crochet for her grandchildren.

The family will hold a small gathering in her honor in the springtime.
