Frances m. Yahnel, 84 of Manchester, Washington died October 28, 2007 at Harrison Memorial Medical Center in Bremerton, Washington. She was born September 8, 1923 in Lancaster, Ohio to James A. & Elizabeth Julia (Sheehan) Bartley. She graduated from Jamesburg High School in Jamesburg, New Jersey in 1941. She married Albert J. Yahnel on April 24, 1942 in Jamesburg. He preceded her in death in 1991. Frances retired from Travis Air Force Base in California as an Order Secretary/Buyer. She also worked as a Grocery Clerk & Cashier for many years. Frances loved being involved with the sport activities of her grandchildren and loved having all the family together. She also enjoyed sewing, crochet, knitting and made numerous things for her family. She was a devout Catholic and was involved in many activities within the Holy Spirit church in Fairfield, California over the years. Surviving are son Robert (Dene) Yahnel; daughters Karen (Armand) Cyr and Carol and Bob Benjamin, both of Port Orchard, Washington; sisters Elizabeth Perdoni, Barbara Bartley, Helen (Rudy) Ramirez, Noreen (Don) Hudson & Kathy Linares, all of California; grandchildren Carla (Scott)Wygal, Michael Gauthier, Matthew Benjamin, Armand A. (Melanie) Cyr, and Aaron (Rebekah) Cyr; great-grandchildren Erik (Rebecca), Sara & Taylor Flores, Sebastian, Mattias & Kristian Gauthier, Cameron & Adrian Cyr, Shaun, Adrianna & Zechariah Cyr; great-great-granddaughter Mailyn Dawn Flores; numerous nephews & nieces, great & great-great nephews & nieces; and Bruce Flores. She was preceded in death by brother and sister-in-laws on both sides of the family. Memorial Mass will be at Holy Spirit Church in Fairfield, California at 10:00 am on April 24, 2008. Inurnment will follow at Fairmont Memorial Park, also in Fairfield. Memorial donations may be made in Frances' name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Foundation.
