Francisco R. Pablo, 77, died in Port Orchard, WA on June 8, 2012. He was born August 8, 1935 in Agana, Guam to Jose & Marie (Rivera) Pablo. He graduated from George Washington HS in 1953 and married Helen Catere on July 5, 1958 in Honolulu Hawaii. Francisco served in the U.S. Army for 25 years, retiring in 1978 as an Army recruiter and Drill Sargent 1st Class, E-8. He earned many awards including Vietnam Honor medals, Bronze Star, Gallentry Cross and numerous others. Francisco enjoyed golfing, camping, fishing, crabbing, and watching his grandson’s play sports. He was a member of St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard and Guam Club. Surviving are wife Helen; son Frank R. Pablo, Jr. of Port Orchard; daughter Raynette Maria (Ken) Hylton of Springfield, MO; sister Dorthy Topasna of Tacoma; sister-in-law Addie Pablo of Mililani, HI; grandchildren Frankie, Chrostopher, David & Eric; great-grandchildren Tyson & Uriah. He was preceded in death by brother Jose Rivera Palbo and sisters Emilia Pablo San Agustin & Rosario Pablo Cruz. Viewing and Rosary from 5 to 8pm on June 21st at Rill’s Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Funeral Mass at 11:00 am on Friday, June 22, 2012 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. Burial will follow at 2:15 pm at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA.
