Frank Q. Picha of Port Orchard, Washington died of heart failure at his residence on January 21, 2004. He was 69. He was born April 2, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to Frank and Marie (Quinn) Picha. He graduated from Baltimore Polytechnic Institute in Baltimore, Maryland in 1952; and, from the University of Maryland in College Park, Missouri in 1956. Frank served in the U.S. Army from July 5, 1956 to June 26, 1958 as SP3 (E-4). He received the Good Conduct Medal and Sharpshooter Medal. He worked as a mechanical engineer and manager of Vitro Corporation for 35 years - retiring in 1994. He enjoyed amateur astronomy, racquetball, auto racing. Frank was baptized - Roman Catholic. He is survived by his companion - Trina Hauge of the Port Orchard, Washington home; son - Frank Q. Picha of Pasadena, California; sister - Joane Fountain, of Halfmoon Bay, California. A memorial service will be held at Rill Chapel's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard, Washington on Saturday, January 31, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to: The PHI SIGMA KAPPA FOUNDATION 2925 East 96th Street Indianapolis, IN 46240
