Frank Rusk

Frank Memory Rusk, 65, of Port Orchard, WA, died January 18, 2002, at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, WA.Frank was born April 2, 1936, in Yakima, WA, to Clifford and LaVina (Boner) Rusk. He graduated from Sedro-Woolley High School in Sedro-Woolley, WA.Frank served in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960 attaining the rank of PFC and received the Parachutist Badge.After the army, Frank worked as a tankerman in the Merchant Marines and then as an equipment cleaner at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in Bremerton, WA.Frank ejoyed learning about coins and currency and fishing. He was even known for picking up a pool cue and shooting a game of pool with his friends.Frank is survived by his mother, LaVina Rusk, of Port Orchard; daughter, Cheryl Bowen and her husband Gene, of Port Orchard; son, Jack Rusk, of Bremerton; and brother Skip Rusk, of Port Orchard. He was preceded in death by a son, Brian Rusk.Viewing will be Sunday, January 27, from 11AM to 1PM, and Monday, January 28, from 9AM to 11AM at Rill Chapel in Port Orchard.
