Frank Darrell Walker, 76
Frank (Grandpa Frank) Walker passed away peacefully at home on July 19, 2019 after a brief battle with head and neck cancer.
Frank served in the US Navy, naval reserves and retired from Puget Sound Naval Shipyard in 2005 as a Machinist. Frank was a member of the Eagles club and was a committed blood donor. Frank enjoyed pool, dancing and Budweiser. Frank became a grandfather to many while helping his wife with her daycare after retirement. Frank is best known for his kind heart and infectious laugh.
Frank is survived by his long-time sweetheart and wife Lila Jane Walker, his daughters Leslie Schmitz and Kyla Drake, Annette Rutledge and Tracy Lightfoot, his grandchildren Mashyla Sayres, Breanna Dubois, Shanie Fairbanks, Ayana Lightfoot, Zamira Lightfoot and Jaaron Zapatka. He was preceded in death by his daughters Angie Walker and Shelly Dubois.
Graveside services will be held at Sunset Lane Cemetery on Wednesday, August 14 at 1:00 PM. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Cancer Society or Red Cross Blood Donations.
