Fred T. Delaney Jr.

Fred T Delaney Jr. was born November 16, 1934 in Outlook WA to Dorothy and Fred Delaney. He married the former Glory Evans on April 15, 1966 in Dothan Alabama. They raised three children, Theresa Delaney, Fred T Delaney III (Heather) and Heather Delaney whom he leaves behind as well as two grandsons Evan and Quinn and a brother Charles (Shirley). Fred honorably served his country in the US Army as an Army aviator flying Chinooks and Hueys in Vietnam. He retired after 26 years on April 1, 1980. Fred and Glory owned and operated The Gallery of Hair Design in Port Orchard for numerous years while he also worked at the US Post Office. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, his sister (Mary Lou), brother (Roy) and his wife of 41 years Glory. Services honoring Fred’s life will be held on Friday July 5, 2013 at St Gabriel Catholic Church in Port Orchard. A viewing will be held at 10:00 followed by a Rosary at 10:30 and Mass at 11:00. Following Mass, Fred will be laid to rest with Glory at Sunset Lane Cemetery with full military honors. A small reception will follow at the family home. Memorial donations may be made to the USO.
