Frederick "Fred" Flinn

Frederick C. Flinn, 56, died at his home in Port Orchard, Washington on January 23, 2006. He was born March 21, 1949 in Bremerton, Washington to Cecil F. & Olga (Strilczuk) Flinn. He married Cynthia Dawn Weekly on November 26, 2977 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fred graduated from South Kitsap High School. He also graduated in 1983 and 1993 from Community College of the Air Force, and from Bates Technical College in Tacoma, Washington in 1997. He earned Associate Degrees in Dental Lab Technician, Personnel Administration, and Dental Assisting. Fred served for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, retiring in 1993 as a Master Seargent. He received the Good Conduct and Meritorious Service Medals. Fred also worked for Navmann Johnson Orthodontics in Silverdale, Washington as a Dental Lab Technician. Fred enjoyed spending time with family & friends, riding his custom motorcycle, his cat "Mokie", entertaining, and working on his acreage. Surviving are his wife Cynthia; sons Brent (Denise) Flinn of Stanwood, Washington and Anthony Flinn of Arlington, Washington; sisters Darlene (Donald) O'Dell of Fair Oaks, California and Joan Flinn of Renton, Washington; and five grandchildren. Memorial service will be Monday, February 6, 2006 at 2:00pm at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Inurnment will be at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington. Memorial donations may be made to the charity of choice.
