Frieda Valdez

Frieda Hastings Valdez, 86 of Olalla, Washington died at Allenmore Hospital in Tacoma, Washington on January 29, 2000.  She was born on March 25, 1913 in San Antonio, Texas to Charles & Pearl (Evans) Hastings.  She married John Valdez on May 10, 1937 in San Antonio, Texas.  John preceded her in death on August 26, 1994.  Mrs. Valdez was a homemaker.Surviving are son James Valdez of Oak Harbor, Washington; daughters Barbara Nix of Olalla, Washington and Joan Alvelais of Monterey Park, California; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.Funeral Services will be held in California with interment at Oakdale Memorial Park in Glendora, California.
