Fusako Maria Carragher

Fusako Maria Carragher, 81, of Port Orchard died in her home in Port Orchard on May 24, 2015. She was born November 7, 1933, in Mie prefecture, Japan, to Riichi and Toi. She married William Peter Carragher on November 5, 1957, in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka, prefecture, Japan.

Fusako worked as a seamstress in Japan. She and William were married for 57 years, until his death in 2014. She was a homemaker, raising two boys, and she enjoyed her pet dogs, gardening, sewing, knitting, and crocheting. She also enjoyed watching and feeding squirrels, raccoons, and birds in her garden.

Surviving are her sons Daniel and Robert. She was preceded in death by her brother Kohei.

Memorial service at 11am on Friday, June 5, 2015, at Rill's Life Tribute Center in Port Orchard. Inurnment with a White Dove Release will follow at Sunset Lane Memorial Park.
