Gabriel Roman Ruiz

The Ruiz family is sad to announce the passing of their angel baby, Gabriel Roman Ruiz, who was a calm in the quarantine storm. This baby, with beautiful eyes, was born on April 20, 2020 and passed away in his sleep on June 7, 2020, the day before he would have been 7 weeks old. He had been growing in health and strength, beginning to smile at loved ones, and laughed when he was tickled. He brought joy and comfort to all who knew him. During his short time on earth, Gabriel brought peace during a chaotic time in the world. He taught his family important lessons in gentleness, valuing life and each other. He reminded each person he touched, to embrace and honor life and their loved ones – today, right now, and always. He taught us each to be truly present in the moment and appreciate the gifts that God has given, even if they are only temporary gifts. Gabriel is survived by his father, mother, and three siblings, Heriberto, Ashley, Genesis, Israel, and Emmanuel – all whom love and miss him dearly. Please join us in prayers at this time.
