Gary M Ang

GARY MAX ANG was born in Polk, NE 12/3/1932 to Stanley and Lela (Peterson) Ang. He moved with his family to Glendale, CA, as a child, joined the Navy after high school & became a Submariner. He was commissioned as a Trooper with the Washington State Patrol on 12/29/1958 after retirement in 1986 he worked for WSP as a VIN specialist until 5/1/2002. Gary married the love of his life, Christine Burk, on 2/22/1990 in the beautiful home he built for their retirement in Port Orchard. Gary enjoyed shooting, hunting, gardening, & being with family & friends. He is survived by his wife, Christine, sons, Kevin Matthew & Kermit Mark, granddaughters Kayla, Kelly & Great Granddaughter Peyton, brother & sister-in-law George & Harriet Logg, special niece and nephews, Anne Christine Pepper, Scott Fred and David James McNabb and their children. Gary and Christine lived next door to the Haver family for 24 years, Steve, Patty, Matt, Danny, Josh & Mike Brown, they became family too, spending much time together & building many wonderful memories. Gary had a close bond with good friend Mike Height & wife Cathy, retired WSP trooper and many other family & friends too many to mention. Memorial services will be at Rill Chapel, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA, Monday, January 27th @ 1:30 p.m. with reception following.
