Gary Christiansen

Gary R. Christiansen, 52 of Port Orchard, Washington died at Harrison Memorial Hospital in Bremerton, Washington on May 5, 2001. He was born in Bremerton on October 2, 1948 to Raymond & Lucille (Campbell) Christiansen. He graduated from Magnolia High School in Anaheim, California. Gary married Susan Thomas in Gig Harbor on November 26, 1976.Mr. Christiansen worked for 27 years as a Pipefitter at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. He served as a Private in the U.S. Army from 1966 to 1972 earning a Purple Heart. He enjoyed the outdoors and being with his family.A Memorial gathering of Family & Friends will be held at the family home, 9620 Southworth Drive in Port Orchard, on Wednesday, May 9, 2001 at 6:00pm.
